- This message asks you to boycott Tommy Hilfiger based on remarks he never made
- Racist Social Security Number
- A message claiming that the 5th digit of your social security number indicates your race. Not true
- LSD and Strychnine on Payphone Buttons
- A hoax based on a number of previous hoaxes.
- The Great Gas Out
- A message urging people to reduce gas prices by not buying gas on 30th. It won't work.
- Marilyn Manson Kills Puppies
- This rumor claims that Marilyn Manson has the crowd kill animals during his shows. Along with many
other rumors about Marilyn Manson, this one's not true.
- Snakes in the Ball Pit
- Snakes in the Burger King ball pit. A nightmare for parents. Luckily it's not true.
- LSD Tattoo
- This one goes way back to 1982. It has migrated successfully to the net.
- HIV Infected Needles Everywhere
- According to this hoax, drug users have all agreed to leave their needles in places where they can infect unsuspecting people with HIV.
- Dead Children used to Traffic Drugs
- A horrible story about how corpses of children are used to smuggle drugs across the border. This one has been around since 1973.
- Ingredient in Shampoo Causes Cancer
- Apparently, many companies don't mind using carcinogens in their products to create more foam.
- Incident at the Mall
- Another attempt to convince people not to trust anyone. After all, why would anyone help you change a flat tire unless they intend to kill you afterwards.
- Waterproof Sunscreen causes Blindness in Children
- According to this message it happens all the time.
- Stolen Kidneys
- Hang on to your kidneys! This hoax claims that a "transplant gang" is stealing kidneys. This is not possible and not true.
- Gang Initiation Rite
- An old legend that keeps popping up. It warns you not to flash your headlights at cars with no headlights or you will be shot at.
- Abduction techniques
- This message warns about new methods to abduct women from the mall.
